OhioLINK has standards on what bibliographic records should and should not be contributed to the Central Catalog. The full text of the standard is available at http://www.ohiolink.edu/ostaff/policyhbk/databases/D1b.html.
All contributed records must have a title and imprint. Author, edition, series, and ISBN or ISSN are required if available.
There are three categories of records that should not be contributed to the central site:
Institutions wishing to submit a group of records to the Central Catalog that do not meet the above criteria must request an exception from the Database Management and Standards Committee.
