1. Certain codes must be used in the same way by all libraries for suppression of bibliographic records. Local sites should use the labels below for suppression codes for their internal code lists (DB Prep minutes: 8-2-91, 6-5-92).

Use of code "L--Display in local OPAC, contribute but do not display in central OPAC," and code "N--Do not display in local or central OPAC, contribute to both," is being phased out. They should not be added to new records.
